on our way home from school yesterday john pointed at something in the sky. since i was driving i couldn’t see what he was pointing at. he isn’t very good at describing things, so we moved onto other things. on our way home today, he said “mommy the white thing is back”. i was able to see today that he was pointing at an airplane with a white contrail. he started wondering what it was and decided it was a “rocket going into outer space”. when we arrived at home, the “rocket” was still in the sky. he goes inside and gets daddy. they go outside and it is nowhere to be found. he turns to daddy and says “you missed it. it was there just a minute ago.”

while i was making dinner, john turns to daddy and says “can we play freeze dance while we wait.” daddy found some music and away he went. most of his dancing was jumping around, but my favorite part is when he would freeze.
