John’s class had a field trip today. They went to the Young Chefs Academy. John told us that they made pizza. According to John “It had cheese and sauce and vegetables. And I got to cut the vegetables. The knife was not sharp. It even touched my finger but it didn’t cut it!” They got to eat the pizza for lunch too. “But I didn’t eat all of it, because I didn’t like the vegetables.” The class also got to make cookies. “Guess what? I like raisins now. We made raisin cookies with a little bit of chocolate.” I asked him if he got to mix everything together. He said “I used my strong arms and strong face to mix everything together!” Then he showed us his strong face (see the picture below). I am so glad that he likes raisins now. I asked him if he would eat raisin cookies if I made them and he said “but we need the recipe.”
