Dip, dip, dip

We had hot dogs and hamburgers for dinner tonight.  Gillian had a hot dog.  She was eating and then started pointing across the table.  I thought she wanted chips, but she was pointing to the ketchup.  I gave her some, thinking she was just going to leave it on the plate.  Well I was wrong.  Out of the corner of my eye I could see her dipping her hot dogs into the ketchup.  While she was dipping, she was saying “dip, dip, dip.”  I personally think the best part is how she is holding the hot dog.  So gentle.

After dinner, I decided to give the kids a treat…an ice cream cone!  It was such a nice day and I knew they would enjoy one.  It was Gillian’s first time having an ice cream cone.  She was a little shy at first, and was a little afraid to lick the cone.  But she got over that quickly when she realized it was yummy.
