On our way home tonight, we saw a telephone pole on the side of 520. John asked what it was and I told him it was a telephone pole. He said “I thought it was a cannon!”

“I got no timeouts and was on the green all day!” John proudly told me about his day. I asked Gillian how many timeouts she had today. She said “Two….Five….Six!”

During the bath tonight, I caught Gillian kissing John on his shoulder.

John said to me this morning “Do you know the best way to beat an enemy? Make him your friend!”

I put the kids to bed and gave them tons of kisses (like every night). I was folding laundry in our room when John came running in. “I forgot something!” And he leaned over and gave me a hug. Then he ran over to Daddy and gave him a squeeze and even Duncan got one too.
