I picked the kids up from school today. I asked John what he wanted for dinner. He didn’t hesitate and said “Pancakes!” He had an awesome first week of Kindergarten. I couldn’t say no. We picked up Daddy and headed to Perkins.

John wanted to order the chocolate chip pancakes but we have done that before and they are too sweet for him. We ordered him the silver dollar pancakes and Gillian got French toast. She even told the waiter “French toast for me!” The kids were awesome during dinner. John ate all of his pancakes and most of his cookie for dessert. Gillian, on the other hand, ate most of her French toast and all of her cookie. They were very good this week and deserved a special treat.
