I went to a baby shower today. Daddy was home with the kids. At some point John asked “Where’s Mommy?” Daddy told him, “Mommy’s at a party,” John whined “I want to go to a party!” Daddy told him “You can’t go. It’s a girl party.” Gillian, who was listening to their conversation, said “I a girl! I go to party!” Daddy tried to backtrack and said “It’s a big girl party” But Gillian countered. “But I a big girl!” Daddy clarified “No a grown up girl.” John also helped “You need to be big like Daddy to go to the party!”
