John and Gillian’s school had a visitor last week.  The kids were visited by Insectropolis and they brought all kinds of insects for the kids to see.  Gillian was not too excited about the bugs coming to school (even though it was only a few weeks ago when she told me that spiders were her favorite animal.)  John told me that he saw a tarantula at school.  He also said “I didn’t touch it.  But it was hairy!  Did you know that there are no kinds of spiders that can hurt you?”  I’m not so sure about his fun fact, but I do love how he says tarantula.
