John had Spanish class today. He told me “I learned how to spell my name in Spanish today!” Intrigued, I ask “How?” He says “J….U….A….N!” I giggled and said “Oh your name in Spanish is Juan.” He said “No. It’s John! But I’m not sure how J U A N spells John!”
While he was doing his homework, he said “I’m going to write J U A N on the top. That’s how I’m going to spell my name now.” I explained to him that he needed to spell his name the correct way and that Juan was to only be used in his Spanish class. He wasn’t too happy with my statement, but he didn’t complain too much.
