Every morning Daddy or I lay out clothes for the kids to wear. We wake them up and they have to get themselves dressed, teeth brushed and go downstairs to get breakfast. On Friday, I laid out clothes for Gillian and woke her up. I told her to get dressed and I went get myself dressed. After I was ready to go, I couldn’t find Gillian anywhere. She was halfway under her bed. She wasn’t dressed yet. I asked “Gillian, why aren’t you dressed yet?” She whined and said “The underwears are awkward!” Trying not to laugh, I asked “What do you mean?” She said “I don’t see the tag!” This pair of underwear was tagless and I showed her where the tag was and she got dressed. I said “You are 5 years old now and you need to get yourself dressed.” She was still super cranky and she said “But thems underwears were awkward.”
