The kids spent the past week in Myrtle Beach with Mimi and Poppy. Mimi and Poppy have a house in Myrtle and they have taken John down there twice. This was Gillian’s first trip. She was super excited to go and John was excited to show her all the fun things he loves to do in Myrtle.
They spent time swimming in the pool.
They had a picnic at the state park.
They went to Broadway on the beach and did the rides.
They also got to do this super cool trampoline thing.
No trip to the boardwalk is complete without ice cream!
They got donuts at Poppy’s favorite place: Krispy Kreme!
They also got to go horseback riding! Gillian said “My horse was best friends with John’s horse. And you know what? Mimi’s horse was called ‘No Name.’ That’s silly.”
Their last adventure was the Pirates Voyage. The kids got those faces painted and they watched an awesome pirate show and rooted for the red pirates to win!
