Tonight Gillian got dressed in her pajamas and asked me “Do you have any nightgowns?” I said “Yes, but just summer ones. I don’t have any winter ones like you.” She didn’t believe me and said “But I thought you like wearing pants and a shirt.” I said “I don’t like wearing a nightgown like you. I like pants better. Why do you like nightgowns?” She simply said “Nightgowns are dresses for nighttime.” It’s hard to argue with that logic.
