Sometime in October we noticed that a spider made a web on our front storm door. He made a beautiful web and I joked to the kids that we wouldn’t need to hang up Halloween decorations. Every morning we would check on his web and see where he was hanging out. We named him Frank. 

It’s been about two months with our new little friend. And every morning on our way to the school bus we look for Frank. We compliment him on his beautiful web. We notice when he has some good snacks caught in his web. We get concerned when he isn’t in “his corner.” 

I know it seems strange but he has been a welcome guest. We have learned a lot about spiders and enjoyed the beauty of nature up close.
