A few years ago, I found an idea I wanted to try from Pinterest. I showed Daddy and he made it happen. I wanted to paint an accent wall in our basement. It turned out amazing. We recently moved into a new house and Daddy and I agreed that we would make a similar wall in our new house. We got the whole family involved. Daddy painted the base color and then we put tape all over the wall to make geometric shapes and designs.
Then the kids and I painted the second coat of color.
Once that layer dried we all got to pick the shapes that we wanted to be darker. The kids didn’t find that part to be too exciting.
This morning was the best part. Taking the tape off the wall. Don’t mind our Jammie’s. It was first thing this morning.
Overall we all love the new accent wall.
