Daddy and I met over 17 years ago on Manasquan Beach.  We got married in 2003 and at that time we were living in Hawaii. We loved our time there, but we knew all along that we would never start our family so far from our own families.  It wasn’t until after we moved back to New Jersey in the end of 2004 did we think about having kids.  We were blessed with John Daniel in July 2007.  He was the first grandchild on my husband’s side and the 5th on my side.  It was love at first sight for all of us.  Daddy and I knew right away that we had a special little man.  When John was about 2 years old we decided to have another child.  We should have known that Gillian would be a feisty little lady.  I promised Daddy that we could find out the sex of this baby, and she just wouldn’t cooperate with us.  She arrived in late July and was absolutely perfect.  She was the second grandchild on Daddy’s side and the 6th on my side (although only the 2nd girl).
