John was given a subscription to Tinker Crate for Christmas. Tinker Crates are a subscription box that is something new to build every month. They encourage engineering skills and most of the boxes give instructions for multiple projects.

This month John’s box was a hydraulic arm. It took him a little while to build it, but when it was completed he showed me how it worked.
