Every morning lately Gillian asks to see the weather on my phone. She uses the app to determine how to do her hair for the day. I opened the app today and showed her the picture below.

I said “It’s going to be a high of 69 and mostly cloudy.” She looked and said “But it’s still going to be a little sunny, right?” She’s right. It’s all in how you look at it. She opted for pigtails in anticipation that it would be sunny.

Note to self: be more like Gillian
